The view from the space offers a glimpse of the Tiergarten on one side and the Sony Center courtyard on the other. The design goal was to create a connection between the outdoors and indoors, bringing nature into the space while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the concept aimed to reflect the client’s corporate identity and visually align with their other locations.
The design utilizes warm colors, soft fabrics, and subtle wood accents to create an inviting, nature-inspired environment. This foundation is complemented by dark green accents, reflecting the company's corporate identity. The space is characterized by a curved layout in the hallway and façade. This curve was emphasized with a full-wall green wallpaper in the hallway, extending from the reception area to the workspaces. Green accents also appear in the furnishings of the communal areas such as the kitchen and lounge.
Warm tones like beige, off-white, and white are present in the carpeted flooring as well as the wall colors and wallpapers. A particular highlight is the phone booths, which are equipped with light wood acoustic walls that remain visible from the work areas. The furniture in the work areas is ergonomic and neutral, while the lounge areas, phone booths, and kitchen are furnished with comfortable, inviting pieces, ideal for longer stays, phone calls, quick meetings, and focused work. The furniture, in shades of gray and dark brown, contrasts beautifully with the light and warm tones of the architectural materials. A central printing area and a coat rack with storage were custom-designed as carpentry pieces and supplemented with lockers, which not only provide storage but also act as room dividers.
