How Much AI Does Architecture Need? As part of the prestigious Munich Creative Business Week MCBW, we invited to take part in a live experiment that delves into the evolving relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and architecture. Can AI revolutionise design, or does true innovation still rely on human intuition?
Our Live AI Tasting at MCBW was a great success! Under this year’s motto “How to Design a Vibrant Community,” we explored together with the audience how artificial intelligence can be applied in architecture—and where human skills are still irreplaceable.
Kajetan Szostok and Timo Brehme led the inspiring discussion, highlighting how AI can support the design process and enrich creativity without replacing the human contribution. At the heart of the event was the interaction between technology and creativity—and the question of what kind of impulses will guide us into the future of architecture.
At CSMM, we see architecture as a discipline that puts people at its center. It forms the foundation for vibrant, sustainable places that foster community and have a lasting impact. While artificial intelligence opens up exciting new possibilities, it also raises a fundamental question: Where do the boundaries of AI lie—and where does the human creative space begin? This question is highly relevant and shapes our daily work. All the more reason we were thrilled to explore it in conversation with experts and our audience. Thank you to everyone for the engaging exchange!
