Fabian Kanal speaks at BUILTWORLD Online Event: “Urban Repair in the Central Quartier – Turning Existing Buildings into a Signal for Sustainable Urban Development”

Fabian Kanal, Operations Manager Office Architecture at CSMM, will provide insights into the planning and architectural approach behind landN – a refurbishment project at Landwehrstraße 61 in Munich that is being transformed into a collaborative network hub.

From an architectural perspective, his talk explores how “New Work” concepts can be translated into resilient and economically viable floor plans, the role of ground-floor and shared spaces in shaping the surrounding neighbourhood, and how the revitalisation of existing buildings in the station district can be made socially sustainable, functional and visible.

The presentation will be complemented by insights from the development side (Urban Progress) as well as the city’s perspective on flagship projects within the Central Quartier.
