Giro di Monaco 2026 — Together for a good cause!

This year, our team once again joined thousands of people from across Munich at the Giro di Monaco — the charity run along the Altstadtring, which celebrated its fifth anniversary this year.

Under the motto “Diversity over Uniformity”, the event has never been about setting record times, but about coming together to stand up for an open, democratic and supportive society. Whether seasoned runners, leisurely walkers or wheelchair participants — everyone is welcome at the Giro di Monaco.

One particularly memorable moment came just before the start, when former Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter (SPD) symbolically handed the baton to his successor Dominik Krause (Greens). Mayor Krause stressed what matters most to him: community spirit — and supporting a good cause. We couldn’t agree more. The fundraising target of €125,000 was successfully reached, with the proceeds going towards refugee support projects organised by the Bellevue di Monaco association.
