Heinze Klimafestival in Berlin

"Sharing is the new owning"

With this guiding idea, CSMM will be represented at Heinze’s Klimafestival 25 – and we are delighted that our Berlin Director, Ivana Hurstel, will be part of the panel discussion.

On 19 November 2025, she will join Dr Tillmann Prinz, Marc-Christian Hodapp, Eva Holdenried, Timo Schroederand Pascal Biesenbach on the (A) Change – Festival Stage to explore how AI can help drive the shift from rapid new-builds to an equally dynamic culture of refurbishment and reuse.

At the heart of the conversation lies the question of how artificial intelligence can support the move away from conventional new construction towards more circular approaches to adapting and transforming existing buildings – and why shared use, data-led planning and adaptable structures will play such a crucial role.
