CSMM Hamburg – Connected Teams, Local Perspective

CSMM has been present in Hamburg since 2024, strengthening our ability to support clients across northern Germany. Few cities combine historic character and contemporary urban development as naturally as Hamburg, and this unique setting continues to inspire the way we approach architecture and design. Being close to our clients enables us to work collaboratively and support projects with insight, responsiveness and a strong understanding of local context.

At the same time, Hamburg is an integral part of the wider CSMM network. Our team works closely with colleagues in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Warsaw, sharing expertise across disciplines and locations. This collaborative approach allows us to combine local knowledge with the collective experience of the practice, creating innovative and sustainable solutions tailored to each project.

As in many of our locations, the revitalisation and adaptive reuse of existing buildings is a key focus of our work in Hamburg. The city's rich architectural heritage provides an ideal foundation for this approach, allowing us to preserve what is valuable while creating spaces that respond to changing needs. Alongside new-build projects, we transform existing buildings into places that respect Hamburg's identity while contributing to its future development.
