Mission to AI

For more than two decades, CSMM has stood for architecture and design of the highest quality. That commitment doesn't change — it evolves. AI is the strategic tool we are using to carry it forward.

As early as 2024, we established an internal AI Competence Centre. Not in response to a trend, but out of genuine conviction: AI creates real value where it streamlines processes, enables knowledge transfer and takes care of routine tasks — freeing up space for what architecture is truly about: creative thinking and meaningful design.

Our next move is Mission to AI. In collaboration with the Center for Software Engineering Excellence (CSEE), a Munich-based centre for software engineering and applied AI closely linked to TUM, master's students from TUM's IT programme are spending three months building a bespoke AI-powered system for CSMM. The project runs as an accredited university seminar — with academic credits and real responsibility on both sides.

At the heart of it all is our knowledge: more than 20 years of projects, standards and decisions. That expertise has always been there — but not always easy to reach. Mission to AI changes that, turning our accumulated knowledge into an active foundation for continuous development, institutional memory and the building of new quality benchmarks.

At CSMM, quality has always been the standard. AI doesn't alter that — it sharpens it. The knowledge is there. The mindset is there. Now we are building the systems to bring both together.
